In 2026, the duo starts with the single «CCTV», even more brutal than usual. With the typical mix of hard, bluesy guitar riffs, powerful rock drums, and laconic lyrics, the power duo serves us stoner rock, capitalism critique, and irony all in one. It reminds of The Dead Weather and Queens of the Stone Age, but sounds fresh and untouched at the same time. The single was the first foretaste of a four-song EP to be released in autumn. One guitar riff follows another, the drums get louder with each fill, and despite dystopian-capitalist images, you can't help but smile. With this new energy, Catalyst returns to the X-Tra Musikcafe in December, almost exactly three years after they presented their last album «Double Sky» there. The St. Gallen duo once again turns all controls to level 11 at the end of the year and gives themselves a good dose of anabolic steroids. It will be wild, fun, and refreshing at the same time.
