Castle Fair with a rich program for young and old! "The festive atmosphere will be provided by vendors of original handmade products, Christmas decorations, the scent of spices, and warm drinks. Visitors can also take advantage of guided tours of the castle interiors already decorated in the spirit of Advent." Don't miss the traditional castle fair, which will take place not only in the first and second courtyards but also on the ground floor of the castle – in the former castle kitchen. You can look forward to a diverse range of stalls and a rich accompanying cultural program that will enhance the festive atmosphere of the entire day. More than 50 vendors from the nearby and distant surroundings will present their crafts. Skilled blacksmiths will demonstrate traditional production techniques. In the former castle kitchen, which is easily accessible via a barrier-free entrance from the arcade courtyard, a creative zone for children will be prepared. Young visitors can make a small gift or decoration by hand, peek into the mysterious hell room, and see what it's like at the castle when devils and angels live in peace under one roof. Throughout the day, there will be theater performances for children, a marble run in the first courtyard, historical music in the first courtyard (forecourt), workshops for children in the former castle kitchen - entrance from the arcade courtyard near the castle entrance, hell vs heaven with devils and angels with a hell scale (you can weigh yourself and see how big of a sinner you are and whether you belong to heaven or hell), a carousel for the little ones in the arcade courtyard, Advent tours of the castle interiors with a guide (tickets available online or directly at the castle box office), a straw nativity scene in front of the famine room with another new character, donkeys (Trčkovo náměstí) at the entrance to the castle gate that will give you a ride, live sheep in a pen under the walnut tree in the first castle courtyard, blacksmiths... and in the arcade courtyard, you can take a photo on the castle bench after dark. Tickets for the fair can be purchased on-site at the entrance (cash and card payment), price: 80 CZK flat rate, children under 5 free. On this day, there is an option for an Advent tour of the castle interiors "Shortened Advent Tour." Admission for Advent tours of the castle interiors: standard 180 CZK; reduced 140 CZK (seniors 65+, youth, ZTP, ZTP/P); children (6-17 years) 50 CZK, children (0-5 years) free. Tickets can be purchased online (as XIV. Shortened Christmas Tour) or at the castle box office until capacity is sold out. ONLINE TICKET "Shortened Christmas Tour" Present your purchased e-ticket in electronic or printed form to our guide upon entering the tour. The tour begins in the arcade courtyard of the castle. Tours are only in Czech! On the day of the fair, entry to the castle grounds is charged even if you are going "only" for the castle tour! The last possible entry to the castle interiors is on Saturday at 16:00.
