It is based on the story "Casse-Noisette and the Mouse King" by the romantic writer Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann, which describes a Christmas evening in a small German town. Enchanting and spectacular, the ballet Casse-Noisette is often part of the gifts given to children, to amaze them, to fill their eyes with this breathtaking magic where sets and acrobatic movements unfold, driven by the passionate music of the famous Russian composer Piotr Ilitch Tchaïkovski. A Christmas dream with animated dolls, evil creatures, and an unlikely hero – the Prince Casse-Noisette. Filled with romance and fantasy, Casse-Noisette celebrates children's ability to dream and the authenticity of their feelings – Clara's first love. Since its creation in December 1892, Casse-Noisette has become a true classic. The International Ballet Company Italia, under the artistic direction of Allesandro Bonavita, offers an impressive presentation of the famous classical ballet ‘Casse-Noisette’. A classic production with scenographic elements of incredible realism, dazzling costumes, accessories crafted with sumptuous details, and a range of enchanting melodies that make up this great masterpiece of classical ballet. International Ballet Company Italia is composed of 40 professional dancers, graduates of the most prestigious choreographic schools from various countries: Italy, Germany, France, Spain, and Ukraine.
