The live music film is a profound project that touches the heart. CARL. is set in a not-too-distant future where AI technology is part of our everyday life and significantly influences it. The film tells the story of the old man Carl, who lives only in the past. In his loneliness, he encounters Tom – an AI hologram in the form of a boy. Their meeting triggers an emotional journey that addresses major questions of our time: What does it mean to be human? How much space do we want to give AI in our lives? Can technology replace genuine feelings? What role does our personal faith and experience of God play? The feature film is accompanied by seven musicians and singers from the band Tiefklang, emphasizing the feelings and thoughts portrayed. This creates an intense interplay of image, music, and emotion – an audiovisual experience – making the audience part of the interactive experience space.
