Bühnensonntag with Nayan Stalder

Description

Nayan Stalder is a hammered dulcimer player, composer, and musical explorer. The focus of his work is the development of the hammered dulcimer: he combines the instrument with folk music, jazz, improvisation, and contemporary sound worlds, and is among other things active with Viertaktmotor and New Balkan Folk. This event is part of the Bühnensonntag series Sundays full of sound, encounters, and surprises: on six afternoons at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, the stage in the exhibition becomes a lively meeting point for twenty minutes. Musicians who have shaped the exhibition present their very personal sound worlds in short sets – sometimes traditional, sometimes experimental, always surprising.
