On April 17, Chris Pohl and Ulrike Goldmann will come with their new album and a spectacular new stage show to Z7, to once again take us into their deep dark sound world. For nearly three decades, the formation around mastermind Chris Pohl (vocals, programming) and Ulrike Goldmann (vocals) has been a reliable fixture in the black scene. With the last album “Dämonen: Sturm,” Blutengel climbed to number 6 on the German album charts in spring 2025. In February 2027, a new work will hit the stores, with which the duo aims for the top spots of the charts again. Blutengel and their music – that’s a unique way of life, a declaration of faith, almost a religion of its own. Since 1998, Chris Pohl has proven with his formation that one can be highly successful with the dark side of life as well. Initially founded as a pure dark electro project, Pohl soon dedicated himself to a highly catchy mix of dance, pop, and mystical gothic elements, accompanied by elaborate multimedia presentations and gigantic live performances, with dancers, fire shows, light, and video art. Blutengel concerts are a spectacle that must be experienced to be truly understood. Only a few live acts can create such an intense atmosphere immediately and captivate the audience as Berliners do. And now Blutengel is going on a big headliner tour again to perform their fresh material alongside proven classics.
