Description

BLUES NIGHT DÜRNTEN 2026
with LARRY’S BLUES BAND – Authentic, raw and full of soul When it comes to real blues, there is no way around LARRY’S BLUES BAND. Led by “Bluesdoctor” Larry Schmuki (guitar, vocals), the band brings a sound to the stage that is lived. For over 50 years, Larry Schmuki has shaped the Swiss blues scene. As a sought-after guitarist, he has shared the stage with greats like Deep Purple, Status Quo, or Luther Allison. His smoky voice, virtuosic playing, and unmistakable groove make every concert an intense experience – full of “mojo” and feeling. He is supported by Markus Fritzsche (bass, double bass, vocals), a longtime companion and skilled musician, as well as the energetic drummer Tosho Yakkatokuo. And with special guest HAMP GOES WILD on piano.
Where boogie-woogie ends, piano blues continues, and where rock'n'roll comes in is irrelevant when it rocks. And it does with Hamp Goes Wild, the virtuosic pianist. Together they create a concert experience that gets under your skin: honest, intense, and full of passion. The Blues Night with LARRY’S BLUES BAND is more than a concert – it is lived blues. An evening for all who want to not only hear the blues but feel it. Larry Schmucki: Vocals, guitars
Markus Fritzsche: E-bass, double bass, vocals
Tosho Yakkatokuo: Drums
