Like in the Zoo Big Cinema, no screen – that's only at BlöZinger. Robert Blöchl and Roland Penzinger, collectively "BlöZinger," are the inventors and grandmasters of KopfKinoKabarett. A film. Performed live on stage. With minimal props. And a maximum of ideas, with which BlöZinger stimulate the imagination and laughter muscles of their audience to peak performance. Their bizarre characters are brought to life by the two stage artists with theatrical finesse and a large dose of "Schmäh"; they switch roles lightning-fast and deliver each character so brilliantly that the audience is immediately drawn into the witty and amusing cosmos created by the two cabaret artists on stage. In the new program "Like in the Zoo," it gets quirky: A marten bites through a car’s wiring. A man reaches for a Swiss Army knife. And somewhere in the forest, a tree named Bertl has been waiting for thirty years. From then on, it only gets quirkier... "Like in the Zoo" is an evening about the strange relationship between humans and animals. Between observer and observed. Between enthusiasm for technology and the longing to simply live in the forest. It’s about a self-made marten trap with electric drive, about a mail carrier named Hubert, who burned briefly – but luckily only briefly – and about the realization that humans probably are not the crown of creation. In between: smoking young deer, philosophical cave paintings, and the honest observation that the audience is the most dangerous predator in the room. BlöZinger combine precise observation with absurd consequences and a fine sense for the moment when the everyday suddenly tips into the surreal. And in the end, it’s no longer quite clear who is actually observing whom...
