Biliana Voutchkova vl Biliana Voutchkova is an interdisciplinary artist, violinist, composer, performer, improviser, and curator with an independent, unconventional artistic language. Based on her classical training and work as a contemporary musician, she explores states of spontaneity and intuitive resonance through listening. Her work moves between sound, movement, and image and includes improvisation, contemporary composition, site-specific works, audiovisual formats, and installations. * * * Line-up:
Jacques Demierre p, Christoph Erb sax, Fred Lonberg-Holm vc, electronics The newly formed trio combines three exciting voices of improvised music. In this configuration, different musical backgrounds and aesthetic approaches meet and merge into a dense, multi-layered sound body. A special connection already exists between Erb and Lonberg-Holm, who have been working together in the duo Screw & Straw for many years. This developed interaction provides an exciting foundation for the expansion into a trio. The trio stands for uncompromising improvisation – intense, dialogic, and always anchored in the moment.
