JazzChurJam Line-up:
Andreas Ebenkofler p, Vito Cadonau b, Simon Steiner dr When jazz musicians meet spontaneously, they rely on a common repertoire: the so-called jazz standards. Without rehearsal, an initial set is created full of spontaneity, musical surprises, and shared discoveries – for the audience and also for the artists themselves. After the opening set, the evening seamlessly transitions into an open jam session. This allows professionals and amateurs alike to present themselves, try out new things, and enjoy the fun and joy of playing together without much concert pressure. The standards for the jam session can be freely chosen by the performing musicians from the Real Book of the 5th and 6th Edition. Interested in playing along? • Mastery of the melody
• Confidence in the song flow
• The ability to improvise over chord progressions
