Ten-year-old Lucy is well-behaved, honest, polite, and always in a good mood. But one day there are hisses and bangs – and the ice cream machine in Lucy's family's gelateria is broken. What now? Since no one wants to give a loan for the expensive repair, Lucy soon sees only one way out: she plans to rob a bank to save the family business from ruin. She takes lessons from a notorious schoolmate in the disciplines of stealing, lying, cheating, and extortion. However, it turns out that the sweet Lucy does not become a bad gangster as easily as she initially thinks…
