Description
Made in France - Offbeat Chronicle of a Factory Closure
The Pursuit of Blue
Theatre
After several years in prison, Émile is granted a modified sentence: days at the factory, nights in detention. But as soon as he arrives at the factory, his relocation is announced. From misunderstandings to manipulations, he transforms into a fervent unionist, to save his skin – but also that of his colleagues, the factory, and even the entire country.
With a constantly shifting set and a drum kit recreating the atmosphere of a political battle, this lively and highly comic show explores the impact of an industrial upheaval. A satire as offbeat as it is impactful on the fight of men and women facing a factory closure.
