Description

The Carnival season officially begins with the release of the medal. During this event, besides the new medal, the new princely couple who will reign over the city throughout the year is presented to the public.
Schedule: 10:45 AM: Guggens parade starting at Place du Midi, heading up Grand-Rue, ending at Place de la Poste. 11:11 AM: Presentation by the Bouf'folles of the new princely couple. Followed by the unveiling and sale of the Carnival medal. Guggens concerts.
