Description

Naples. In a popular apartment, Leonida Papagatto has elevated the profession of guest to an art form: disguised as a Colonel, he sneaks into high society events and extorts generous donations from wealthy patrons. His sharp-witted wife Valeria, the romantic daughter Fiorella, and the quick-witted Matilde become unwitting accomplices in the plan — until Nicola suddenly appears, panicked and convinced he has killed his chamberlain. A confused grandfather, rented by the hour, a fake doctor, a corpse hidden in a suitcase: lightning-fast misunderstandings and deceptions follow in this Neapolitan apartment, where everyone plays a role. Between the caviar, which one dreams of, and the lentils, which one eats, there is as much distance as between a man... and the women who uphold him.
