Description
Belarusian poet Julia Cimafiejeva reads from her poetry collection "Blood Circulation" (edition. fotoTAPETA 2025). The conversation will be in English, and after the reading, there will be an aperitif. This poetry book is not a collection of lyrics. The poetess tells, using many forms and genres available to her, about her family's life over an entire, long century. She says: "This book describes the long journey away from home." The exiled poetess has taken this path, as have many in her family. "Belongs to me, what I do not remember?" [Text from the publisher]. Translated from Belarusian by Tina Wünschmann. In cooperation with the (Hi)story Festival.
