Berlin Book Premiere: Regina Halmich with "The Lady of the Rings" hosted by Marco Seiffert

Description

A woman fights her way through!
Regina Halmich is Germany's first female boxing world champion and one of the most successful female boxers worldwide. But how did she get there? In "The Lady of the Rings," she shares her extraordinary life story for the first time. From humble beginnings in a loving family in Karlsruhe to the top of the boxing world, she describes her challenges, triumphs, and setbacks. With wit and great openness, Regina Halmich provides insights into her start in combat sports, her formative experiences, and the often sexist resistance she had to overcome. As honest and open as never before, the athlete also talks about love, friendship, and disappointments outside the boxing ring. This story is not only an inspiring portrait of a pioneer but also a source of courage for everyone fighting for their goals and not letting setbacks get them down. The evening is hosted by Berlin's favorite moderator, Marco Seiffert!
