Description
The Urner Mundartweg connects impressive mountain landscapes around Lake Urnersee with exciting insights into the lively Urner dialect. The starting point is the village of Isenthal, from where we ascend to Furggelen, where the Mundartweg begins. Along the way, 13 panels with dialect texts, idioms, and audio examples invite you to smile, reflect, and discuss. The path leads over the Scheidegg to the Obere Bärchi and offers great views of the Urner mountain world, the Reuss valley, and Lake Urnersee. At the valley station Vordere Bärchi, a beautiful barbecue area with a fantastic panoramic view invites you to take a lunch break. Afterwards, we return comfortably to Isenthal.
