Chilbi Exhibition «Vorhang üf! 50 Jahre Theatergruppe Isenthal»

Description

Isenthaler Chilbi 2026: Anniversary Exhibition «50 Jahre Theatergruppe Isenthal», folk music, dance, and Chilbi festival. Opening: Sat, 17.10.2026, 8 PM, Turnhalle Isenthal. Welcome to the Isenthaler Chilbi 2026! Enjoy folk music, dance, Chilbi specialties, and a great program for young and old.
After the successful photo exhibition, the Culture Commission of Isenthal dedicates this year's exhibition to the "50th Anniversary of the Theater Group Isenthal".
Since 1991, the Chilbi has included a cultural exhibition that evokes memories, enables encounters, and makes a piece of village history visible. The Isenthaler Theater is a legend. For half a century, the association has enriched the cultural life in the valley.
With much passion, humor, and commitment, countless theater evenings have been organized, dialect plays rehearsed, scenery built, and intergenerational friendships maintained.
The exhibition invites you to immerse yourself in this lively history: with pictures, videos, memories, stories, and special moments from a century of theatrical passion. Hospitality and community are at the heart of the Isenthaler Chilbi. Locals, former members, and guests from near and far gather for a cozy get-together.
In the Urirotstock guest room, culinary delights, dance, and folk music create a festive atmosphere. In the Turnhalle, you will find the anniversary exhibition, while on the Schulhausplatz, children's stalls and the Platz-ständchen of the Musikgesellschaft Isenthal enliven the village. Culinary offerings include Chilbi specialties at the Gasthaus Urirotstock or at the youth group's Café Stübli.
The municipal council and the Culture Commission look forward to warmly inviting you to the Chilbi and the exhibition opening on Chilbisamstag, October 17, 2026, at 8 PM, in the festively decorated Turnhalle. Special thanks go to all clubs, helpers, sponsors, and loyal supporters who contribute to the success of the Chilbi year after year.
Together, they make the Isenthaler Chilbi a place of encounter, vibrant tradition, and lived community.
We look forward to your visit – a warm welcome to Isenthal!
