Description
The Bavarian Chamber Orchestra Bad Brückenau (BKO) was founded in 1979. It consists of outstanding musicians from the Central European region, from Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, who regularly come together as a chamber orchestra and in various chamber music ensembles. The focus is on projects in musical traditions and border areas as well as collaboration with extraordinary personalities, including Yehudi Menuhin, Arvo Pärt, Sharon Kam, and Claire Huangci. Since 2019, Sebastian Tewinkel has been the artistic director and chief conductor of the BKO. The Säckingen concert is led by violinist Daniel Sepec, long-time concertmaster of the German Chamber Philharmonic Bremen. The spring concert inspired by nature, concluding the 80th SKA cycle, is dedicated to the memory of Ludwig van Beethoven. ------- Program ------- Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741)
