Balkan Jam with Martin Schumacher

Description

Clarinetist Martin Schumacher continues the popular Balkan Jam at Galotti and takes us on a musical journey through Southeastern Europe. Together, we explore well-known and lesser-known melodies from the vast repertoire of the Balkan Peninsula. We encounter oriental-sounding scales as well as the typical 'crooked' time signatures. The Galotti Jams are open to everyone. Those who wish to participate in a jam should have basic musical knowledge and some agility on their instrument, and be able to contribute independently to the ensemble. The jam takes place from 6 participants onwards. Information on the event and repertoire, as well as seat reservations, can be found directly at Galotti Musikwerkstatt Participants and additional information: Martin Schumacher
