The Winterthur Music Collegium and choir come together to perform four of Bach's six cantatas from his Christmas Oratorio, composed for the festive days from December 25 to January 6. The concert features intricate arias, narrative recitatives, and joyful choruses that bring the Christmas story to life, creating a lively and celebratory atmosphere. Attendees might even find themselves singing the famous opening words, 'Jauchzet, frohlocket! Auf, preiset die Tage!' during the holiday season.
