From Apprenticeship to Collection – Focus: Design Education

Description

The newly curated forum presents this time two exciting projects directly from design education: «Healing Light» (BA Art Education, ZHdK) and the book design module «150 Jahre Museum für Gestaltung» (BA Graphic Design, HSLU). Since works from teaching and research are of particular interest to the museum, individual objects from both projects have already found their way into our collection. Together with students and their instructors, current questions of design education are discussed: What topics move the next generation? What skills and methods are in demand today, and what are the career prospects? With students and instructors of the BA Art Education at ZHdK and the BA Graphic Design at HSLU.
