Description

Four dancers and four musicians. The special thing about this ensemble: all are equal parts of the artistic process. Together, they explore the connection between contemporary dance and chamber music. This creative collective was founded by dancer and choreographer Roberta Pisu. From 2012 to 2023, the Italian performed at the renowned Gärtnerplatz State Theater in Munich and collaborated with internationally known choreographers such as Marco Goecke, William Forsythe, Edward Clug, and Alexander Ekman. In 2020, she teamed up with the Arcis Saxophone Quartet, and the arcis_collective was born. The immersive dance evening "K. I. nd of Human" explores the changing relationship between artificial intelligence and humans, with mortality remaining the decisive boundary between the two. The music by Leonhard Kuhn was created in collaboration with an AI and gradually develops from artificially electronic sounds to human acoustic soundscapes. What actually makes us human, and can AI even create art?
