For audiences aged 14 and up, a play in English by John Kenny based on the fable by George Orwell. The animals are fed up: they are poorly treated, have to work hard, and often the drunken farmer forgets to feed them. Revolution! Together, the animals drive all the humans off the farm, working for themselves from now on, together for the common good, and write down their own commandments to which they want to adhere. At first, everything goes well, but the pigs, being the most intelligent animals on the farm, increasingly take control – until eventually not all animals are equal anymore... The producers of the ADGE remain true to Orwell's narrative. At the same time, they distance themselves from the Russian Revolution as the only possible reference point. Humanity has tried countless times to bring about fundamental changes overnight through violence.
