Andrew McCormack once again welcomes the celebrated American bassist and long-time bandmate Kyle Eastwood as a special guest in his trio for a limited number of concerts in autumn 2026. The concerts will also feature the esteemed London jazz musician Rod Youngs on drums. The program will include pieces from Andrew's current trio album "Luminosity," which has been awarded "5 stars," as well as from his previous release "Terra Firma." Andrew has toured with an impressive array of internationally established musicians, recording and collaborating with the likes of Randy Brecker, Quincy Jones, Jamie Cullum, Jean Toussaint, and Jason Yarde. He has also toured worldwide as part of the Kyle Eastwood Quintet and collaborated with Kyle on his recent symphonic project, contributing to the film scores and orchestrations of several Clint Eastwood films. Kyle studied film for two years at the University of Southern California before embarking on a music career. After working as a session musician in the early 1990s and leading his own quartet, he released his first solo album "From There to Here" in 1998. His album "The View From Here" was released in 2013 by Jazz Village. In addition to his solo albums, Eastwood composed music for nine films by his father, Clint Eastwood. Eastwood plays electric bass with and without frets, as well as double bass. Two internationally acclaimed bandleaders – a great trio.
