Altdorfer Chilbi

Description

Traditionally, the Altdorfer Chilbi takes place on the first Sunday after Martini (November 11). This is because Saint Martin is the patron saint of Altdorf. In 2026, the Chilbi weekend falls on November 14 and 15.
The traditional Chilbi meal is cabbage and mutton. For young and old, there are many Chilbi stalls and attractions at Winkelplatz, food and music in festival taverns and local restaurants.
