Chäszännä Urner Meisterschaft 2026

Description

On October 3, 2026, the Neues Altdorf association will host a new edition of the Urner Championship in Chäszännä at Lehnplatz.
All Urner residents* young and old are invited to face the camera and show their best grimace. In the evening, a selected jury will name the Urner champion. There is a great prize, a trophy, and of course, fame and honor.
The festival economy opens at 10 a.m. From 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the stage is free for photo shoots. The award ceremony takes place at 6 p.m.
*All those with a home or residence in Uri are eligible to participate. Participation is free, no registration is required. Admission is free for spectators.
