«No drop of water is left. They level everything and cut down the forest – we have to flee!» The animals of Thalerwald are in turmoil because their habitat is threatened. Even the last pond is buried by the excavator – now the animals have no water left. And so they decide to leave their beloved home. But where to? A long, uncertain journey full of adventures awaits the eight mismatched animals. From now on, they realize: they can only survive if they stick together. What will await them at the end of their journey? A road movie with puppets, (live) video, music, and an uncertain outcome, based on the book by Colin Dann.
