ALEXANDER SCHEER | ANDREAS DRESEN & BAND play (not only) Gundermann "GUNDERMANN", the director's work by Andreas Dresen became an arthouse hit and was decorated with 6 LOLAs, the German Film Award. A film that was celebrated throughout the media, deeply touching, with a soundtrack that touches the soul. Alexander Scheer was awarded the Bavarian Film Prize and the LOLA for his leading role. An active singer and musician, he received the German Record Critics' Award for his interpretation of the songs in the feature film and, incidentally, climbed into the top 20 of the German album charts. Scheer, who fascinated as Keith Richards in the film "Das wilde Leben" and as David Bowie at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus, immerses himself deeply into the cosmos and songs of Gerhard Gundermann. He explores them, unfolds a nearly magical intensity "with everything he has" and delivers it back with force. For the film premiere, a band was specifically formed, not knowing that it would develop into a band project that is now a concert highlight and festival event with rapidly growing audience support across Germany. Meanwhile, the first live album "Immer wieder Nie Genug" is among the people, testifying to never standing still, but developing enough material to joyfully expand the repertoire.
