After six years in the midst of the New York jazz scene, Alain Métrailler is back in Switzerland. The saxophonist from Chalais, known for the expressiveness of his playing and his strong sense of rhythm, performs with Walliser double bassist Fabien Iannone and Geneva drummer Noé Tavelli – two musicians also shaped by their experiences in New York. Together, they present a repertoire rooted in the jazz tradition of the US East Coast while allowing space for exploration and improvisation.
