Description
In his new novel «Scene Change» (Galiani 2026), Alain Claude Sulzer immerses his audience into the world of theater, a space full of dreams, passion, and vanity. The great director Simon Muthesius is dead, and an entire ensemble is set in motion. All involved – dramaturg, diva, makeup artist, family members – have their own story with the deceased. And some still have a score to settle. With his characteristic elegance, Sulzer creates a multi-voiced portrait of society and shows what remains of a life when fame has faded.
