AKT-SCHREIBEN

Description

1000 words say more than a picture Just as in figure drawing, where pencil tips, brushes, or chalk transfer the shapes, contours, and volume of a person onto paper and canvas, in this workshop we approach the body of a nude model with language. The setting: a nude model and a group of writers trying to formulate what they see, or what they do not see. Your body – my poetry. Whether short story, dialogue, poetic anatomical landscape descriptions, or free associative word sequences... whatever comes to mind when you see the other. What can be read about identity from a nude model in an afternoon? What does a body tell us? Accompanied by an author who hosts the workshop day and coaches participants as needed, we let our vision and imagination run free. The language you write in is entirely up to you. Experiment. After the workshop, in the evening, the literary works of the participants will be made accessible to an audience in the form of a public reading. Live and with flair and fizz.
