The abolition of female monasteries took place gradually between summer and autumn in the same year. As part of a strictly secret operation, monks and nuns were unlawfully interned, their properties confiscated by the state and assigned to new users. The lecture will show what preceded the first assault on the monasteries by the security apparatus, introduce the precise secret instructions for carrying out Akce K, and illustrate its actual course with specific examples, outlining the further fate of its inhabitants.
