Sonata for Strings and Basso Continuo in G major op. 5 No. 4 Abchordis – the name of this excellent Swiss Early Music ensemble has two meanings: "from the heart" and "on strings". Still a secret tip in this country, the ensemble gained international recognition with their excellent recordings: Antonio Vivaldi is at the center, surrounded by lesser-known Italian Baroque composers. After Ettlingen, they bring a program of German Baroque composers, who knew and appreciated each other – all created around 1727 – in the same year as the wonderful Asamsaal of the castle. Ensemble leader Andrea Buccarella shines in Bach's D minor harpsichord concerto – with passion, energy, naturally on strings and from the heart. Introduction at 5:30 PM

The Abchordis Ensemble presents a concert with works by German Baroque composers at Schloss Ettlingen. Under the direction of Andrea Buccarella, Bach's D minor harpsichord concerto will be performed, complemented by pieces by Pisendel and Telemann.
