17th ETTLINGER FOLKNACHT
Folk music from Sweden, Southern France, Belgium, and Germany – for listening and dancing!
For the 17th time, the cultural office of the city of Ettlingen invites you to the Folknacht in the city hall. Again this year with an extraordinary and diverse program. FEMTI FEM
55 strings and 4 wonderful voices. The French quartet Femti Fem, consisting of
Mélanie Brelaud (Hardanger fiddle, violin, vocals), Chloé Chaumeron (Nyckelharpa,
violin, viola, vocals), Clémence Lenoël (cello, vocals), and Coline Genet (violin,
vocals), has dedicated itself to Scandinavian folk music with its dances and songs. CLUME
At Clume from the vicinity of Saint-Etienne, singing is at the forefront. Besides
her voices, Anouck Alarcon, Jessy Ragey, and Lucile Guirimand also have a collection of various percussion instruments.
The polyphonic, narrative dance songs of the trio in Occitan and French directly touch the heart
and the legs. DUO NARAGONIA & DUO WALTHER/TREYZ
The musicians who close the Folknacht 2026 have been representing (dance) folk music of the finest in European folk music for years. The Belgian duo Naragonia
(Pascale Rubens: diatonic accordion, vocals / Toon Van Mierlo: diatonic accordion, bagpipes) will perform this evening with
Duo Walther / Treyz (Gudrun Walther: violin, diatonic accordion, vocals / Jürgen Treyz: guitar, vocals). DANCE COURSE
Before the event, you can attend a folk dance course for beginners with Elke-Charlotte Pflock: Sat. 07.11.2026, 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM,
Bürgerkeller of the city hall of Ettlingen.
