60 Years Camerata Instrumentale Freiburg The Camerata Instrumentale Freiburg, founded in 1966 by Freiburg music students, performed its first concert on October 9, 1966, at the castle of Insel Mainau. Since then, the Camerata Instrumentale Freiburg has organized over 450 concerts with various ensembles, mainly in the Historic Kaufhaus. The program for the anniversary concert on October 10 at 8:15 PM in the Kaisersaal of the Historic Kaufhaus features a representative cross-section, including outstanding works from early Baroque to modern: such as the 6th concerto by J. B. de Boismortier for 2 flutes and string trio, two duos for 2 flutes by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach and Charles Koechlin, the cheerful G major quartet by Telemann for recorder, flute, and string trio, and before the intermission, excerpts from the Cypress for flute and string trio by A. Dvorak. Following Frank Michael's "Herbstlinien op. 132" for 2 flutes (also bass flute) and string trio, the virtuoso variations on "Wat zal men op den avond doen" for soprano recorder, the finale is Mozart's C major flute quartet KV 285 b. The Camerata Instrumentale performs with Frank Michael on flute, bass flute, and recorder, Winfried Meier-Ehrat on flute and G alto flute, Miriam Rudolph on violin, Ulrike Rüttgardt on viola, and Ute Hüffmann on cello.
