54th Edition of the Mineral and Fossil Show

Description

The Club of Mineral and Fossil Seekers Ticino (CCMFT) is pleased to present the 54th edition of the market show dedicated to minerals and fossils from around the world. This exclusive and established event represents the most important appointment of its kind south of the Alps. The show, which has evolved over many years, aims to promote and disseminate knowledge in the fields of paleontology and mineralogy. This year, we will do our utmost to offer visitors of all ages the opportunity to admire the natural jewels created by nature's constant patience. With the presence of numerous exhibitors from Ticino, Switzerland, and internationally, the event will offer a wide range of minerals, fossils, and artistic creations with gemstones and jewelry, with each stand showcasing unique finds, pieces, and creations, expanding an already rich selection. The event is a must-see for both enthusiasts and the curious, who will not only be able to admire these treasures but also purchase them, perhaps finding the perfect gift for friends or family. To complement the event, the club will set up thematic showcases with pieces from special collections. This year, the association will present a series of thematic showcases featuring artifacts from special collections. Two particularly valuable exhibitions will be presented this year: the first, from the collection of Andrea Piazzini, is dedicated to minerals from around the world, while the second, from the collection of Peter Rinaldi, is dedicated to the world of fossils. The market show will take place as usual on Saturday, November 14, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Sunday, November 15, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Pregassona festival pavilion, regardless of weather conditions.
