The artist abandons sterile repetition and geometry in favor of organic, dense textures, as well as vibrant splashes of color. It is precisely at this deeper level that the entire drama of the painting is born. These backgrounds do not serve as mere decoration or literal reflections of specific streets or squares. They constitute an autonomous record of a state of mind, the pure echo of places reinterpreted through memory and sensitivity. It is a space of experience defined by chiaroscuro and chromatic nuances, upon which the fabric of walls, the glow of light on a foreign horizon, or the rhythm of a pulsating metropolis are superimposed. The artist's brushstroke carries a strong emotional charge, drawing the viewer deep into the depicted world.
