A statement becomes a touching piece. The renowned theater author Hannah Zufall, together with Ariane Koch, founded the initiative «Golden Age» for more older women on and behind the stage. And now she writes for the free theater group ZELL:STOFF: a text for Suly Röthlisberger, Jaap Achterberg, Pierre Siegenthaler, and Nikola Weisse: four older people and five chairs. One chair remains empty because someone is missing. The elderly have known each other for a very, very long time. One is in love with another and doesn't say it. One mourns the fifth, and one is still a child, losing the thread not only in the «Lismete». One just wants to have her peace at last. They remember, make plans, and would like to feel freer now, in this last quarter of their biography. How to deal with the fact that society attributes the importance of elevator music to them and prefers to ignore it? «4/5» is a story about different approaches to aging and vividly shows what often remains in the background. The touching and impressive evening with concentrated acting power was invited to the Swiss Theater Meeting 2026 and the authors' days at the Deutsches Theater Berlin. Language:
