It will soon be that time again and the starting signal will be given for the biggest Swiss running festival exclusively for women. The Swiss Women's Run, where thousands of women run together through the streets of Bern - full of energy, passion and joie de vivre. When young and old come together to run through the streets of Bern, it's time again for the popular Swiss Women's Run. There is something for everyone on the program. Even the little ones can experience their first running adventure in the Girls Sprint of 500 meters. Those who prefer to run together with their mothers can take part in the 1.6-kilometer Famigros Run. The classic categories are five and ten kilometers long, in which the visually impaired can also take part with an accompanying person. Those who don't want to run can sign up for (Nordic) walking and can also run the popular routes. The Swiss Women's Run is an annual event for the whole family and leads from the center of Bern over the Monbijou Bridge and the Kirchenfeld district back to Bern's old town, where the final meters are set for a brilliant final spurt towards Bundesplatz.
