From October 7 to 11, L'Undertown celebrates its 30th anniversary with grand plans: 4 days of exceptional programming to celebrate three decades of history, music, and community. Rock, rap, reggae, and battle culture take turns on stage, reflecting the eclecticism and openness that have shaped the venue's identity since 1995. Wednesday, October 7 — To kick off the 30th anniversary of L'Undertown in style, the night features engaged rock and metal with Lofofora, a legendary band of the French scene, known for their incisive lyrics and raw energy on stage for over 30 years. As a co-headliner, Cardiac will warm up the crowd: local kids and pillars of the local scene, they have been defending their universe for many years with the same conviction and energy. An evening dedicated to rage and sharing, true to the spirit that has built the reputation of L'Undertown for three decades. Friday, October 9 — we keep the surprise until September 14. You will need to be very quick! Saturday, October 10 — An exceptional reggae/dub evening for the 30th anniversary of L'Undertown, featuring Jamaican legend Al Campbell, backed on stage by the full band Najavibes. The most emblematic group of the Geneva and Romandy reggae scene, created by childhood friends in the late 90s, Najavibes will first perform their own set before accompanying Al Campbell for the live part. A well-known formation, which has collaborated with Jamaican artists and other big names in reggae over the years. Jahnaton and Asher Selector complete this carefully curated program, for a vibrant and warm evening deeply rooted in reggae and sound system roots. Sunday, October 11 — To close these 4 days of celebration, L'Undertown vibrates to the rhythm of hip-hop and battle culture with the Battle M30, an explosive format in 7 to Smoke, preceded by an open cypher pre-selection for dancers to confront and push their limits. A day designed for and by the community, between competition, respect, and transmission — the very essence of what has kept L'Undertown alive for 30 years. Four evenings, four worlds, one story: that of L'Undertown, a place of meetings and stages for 30 years.
