Description

The Forté Trio ignites a program full of energy, virtuosity, and surprising sound colors. Founded by pianist and artistic director Timur Urmancheyev, the ensemble is one of the leading chamber music groups in Kazakhstan and is also considered one of the most successful piano trios in Central Asia. European tours and invitations to renowned festivals emphasize its international appeal. The trio performs in numerous countries and plays in major halls such as the Musikverein Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonic, or the Palau de la Música in Barcelona. Additionally, it is regularly present in almost all European regions. The musicians combine baroque, large romantic works, contemporary compositions by Kazakh authors, and artistic arrangements of traditional music into a lively, distinctive sound language that has made the ensemble well known far beyond Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
