The exhibition presents a selection of school paintings by Zdeněk Burian from the collection of the Museum of Comenius in Přerov. Visitors will see a selection of legendary educational boards from the 1950s that accompanied education in Czech schools for decades and still belong to iconic depictions of prehistoric life and human evolution. Zdeněk Burian is one of the most significant world illustrators of prehistory and a pioneer of the field now known as paleoart. The exhibition will also highlight his most prominent Czech followers, showcasing their work through examples from contemporary book production. The exhibition will be complemented by publications from the VKOL collection illustrated by Zdeněk Burian. In collaboration with the Museum of Comenius in Přerov, p. o.
