📍 From September 1 to 30, you can view the exhibition Changing Olomouc at Horní náměstí, showcasing a selection of projects that have transformed the city in recent years, as well as those that are still in preparation. Changes to parks and public spaces, repaired roads, sidewalks, and bridges, more modern schools and kindergartens, or places for sports and leisure. A lot has changed in Olomouc in recent years, and the exhibition will remind us of at least some of what has been accomplished.🏗️ In addition to large and immediately visible projects, such as the waterfront, the new Kotelna library, the cultural and educational center, or the upcoming Loděnka in the zoo, the exhibition will also present a number of smaller projects. These include expanding childcare capacities for the youngest children, new sections of bike paths, repairs to public transport stops, new murals, or the restoration of small monuments as part of the beautification of public spaces.🏡 And not all changes are immediately visible. The city is also investing in insulation and energy savings for schools, kindergartens, and other buildings, as well as in the renewal of infrastructure hidden underground.👀 When you walk through Horní náměstí in September, stop and see what has changed in Olomouc over the past years and what is planned for the future.
