Yes It’s Ananias concerts are considered a surprising piano spectacle in the Swiss experimental, neo-classical, and art scene. Whether it's an 8-day concert at the old Thomy factory in Basel, fashion show improvisations at Kunsthaus Zürich, or opera hall recordings in Mexico, the unconventional or even absurd nature of his tour destinations suggests that the fifth album, produced with Finnish producer Valtteri Väänänen, aims to stay true to Fluxus. The melodically broad new piano improvisations culminated in the first progressive-classical, cross-classical album recorded by the Aargau pianist in Finland. After several tours in Finland with Paula Präktig, Julia Andersson, or Teemu Halmkrona (all Finnish pianists), nothing stands in the way of a Nordic sound and 'Sisu'-charged presentation of the recently released vinyl album with the arguably longest title in the country: 'YES IT’S ANANIAS V: OPUS VIISI AS A FIFTH FORCE FORMING FORGOTTEN ALLIANCES BETWEEN PAST PREDICTIONS AND PRESENT POWERS OF ZENITH'. The international tour leads from Switzerland through Finland, France to Scotland and many other European cities to Sissach, where connoisseurs claim his artistic work has taken a turn. Yes It’s Ananias has already played over 400 concerts across multiple continents. His concept albums include psychoautomatic poetry, rounded off by analog photography from the artist himself. The Basel-Land debut concert will be a solo piano event that transforms a Wednesday evening into an explosive display of improvisation. Concertgoers have reported leaving the club, hall, or museum show completely exhausted, fulfilled, and simultaneously dazed, much like after a good Finnish sauna! This event will take place on the stage in the attic (4th floor).
