XIII. století is a rock legend that created the gothic rock genre in the Czech Republic in the early 1990s. Since then, it has been a leading representative of this genre not only in our country but also on the European scene. Petr Štěpán and his brother, drummer Pavel Štěpán, have formed the unchanging core of the band since the beginning. XIII. století enjoys the lasting support of a significant and very loyal community of listeners, which is gradually being strengthened by young fans. The band performs throughout the Czech Republic, playing solo concerts and appearing at city festivals, rock festivals, and hard events like Brutal Assault. In addition to stable support from Czech fans, they also enjoy interest abroad, especially in Poland, where they regularly perform. Their concerts are exceptional, emotional, yet full of energy. The concert playlist is a cross-section of the band's more than thirty-year musical history.
