World Masters Mountain Running Championship

Description

The World Masters Mountain Running Championships (WMMRC) 2027 bring the international elite of masters mountain running to Klosters. Around 1,000 - 1,500 runners from all over the world will travel to the Grisons Alps to compete on spectacular trails in the disciplines of mountain running, uphill and downhill, as well as long distance, vying for the world championship titles. The competition program includes three challenging races:
The Uphill Race on Thursday, June 10, 2027 (7.2 km / 816 m elevation gain) leads from the Madrisa valley station to the mountain station and is a pure uphill challenge.
On Friday, June 11, 2027, the Long Distance Race (25.1 km / 1,152 m elevation gain) follows – a demanding loop through the alpine mountain landscape around Klosters.
The finale is the Up & Downhill Race (11.1 km / 544 m elevation gain and descent) on Saturday, June 12, 2027, starting and finishing at the Arena Klosters. The world championships promise exciting competitions, an international atmosphere, and impressive mountain sports moments amidst the unique alpine backdrop of Klosters.
