Description
How is a world created from sound? Noah Mundinger and Marquis McGee invite you to a three-day workshop on Foley and audio description – for blind and visually impaired people with prior experience in audio description. In the workshop, you will learn Foley techniques – creating live sounds with everyday objects – and combine them with creative audio description. Together, you develop stories, characters, and atmospheres through sound. The workshop starts with an introduction to integrated audio description and Foley techniques. Then movement takes center stage: you develop characters through movement and connect them with sound, working with the spatial effect of sound. Noah Mundinger and Marquis McGee have already collaborated on the Criptonite production Bioluminescence, which combined integrated audio description and Foley effects.
