Wolves in the Throne Room (US) – «Knights of Tiamat Tour»

Description

While we still have to wait for an album from WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM, they are providing a small EP called «Crypt Of Ancestral Knowledge» as a bridge. The successor to the 2021's «Primordial Arcana» offers a good cross-section of WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM's music. The all-encompassing approach begins with the (almost) entirely black «Beholden To Clan», one of two new tracks on «Crypt Of Ancestral Knowledge». Here, atmospheric elements and orchestral arrangements can already be found. The EP increases in atmosphere, adding acoustic guitar in the also new «Twin Mouthed Spring», and concludes with two quasi-instrumental reinterpretations of tracks from «Primordial Arcana». Thus, «Spirit Of Lightning» and «Mountain Magick» receive a new guise under different names. Special guests:
Worm (US)
Final Dose (UK) Presented by Metalmayhem.
