Description

When was the last time you visited a museum where your experiences, stories, or perspectives were represented? Have you ever seen yourself reflected in an exhibition? The exhibition “Where To—Where From—With What” explores how spaces for memory, art, identity, and belonging can be created. Committed individuals from Rapperswil-Jona and the surrounding area worked on this exhibition together with the team at the Kunst(Zeug)Haus. They selected works, contributed their own perspectives, and helped develop the content of the educational program. Their voices have a significant impact on the exhibition. This creates a space for exchange: between artworks and viewers, between visitors, and between different experiences and realities of life. Meaning emerges through dialogue. Different perspectives reveal new connections and broaden our horizons. Featuring works by ALMA, Vincenzo Baviera, Ueli Berger, Biefer/Zgraggen, Reto Boller, Lis Kocher, Luo Mingjun, Barbara Mühlefluh, Niklaus Rüegg, Verena Sieber-Fuchs, Roman Signer, Paul Stöckli, Studer/van den Berg, Hugo Suter, and Martina Vontobel. In cooperation with artefix kultur und schule, IntegrArte, the Kunstfabrik Wetzikon, the Kurdish Cultural Association of Rapperswil-Jona, as well as Olena Shliundt and Helen Zimmermann.
